About the Institute
A registered non-profit with a pan-African vision and a hybrid, digital-first delivery model.
Our Story
AIRA Africa was founded in 2026 in Kano State, Nigeria, and incorporated on 30 June 2026 as a non-profit company limited by guarantee under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.
The Institute was established on a simple conviction: Africa's health, agricultural, technological, and societal challenges will be solved by African researchers — if they are given the mentorship, training, and platforms to excel.
We begin where access is widest: digital platforms that allow participation across locations. As the Institute grows, we expand to on-site programs — conferences, seminars, research symposiums, and institutional collaborations within Nigeria and beyond.
"A deliberate hybrid model — digital-first for reach, on-site for depth — scalable from day one."

Registration & Governance
